![]() ![]() Anyone had a leak in this area? Anything on the back side of the pump that might leak engine oil? May just be the cam follower covers, but I don't think so. Now I have one near the front left corner (near lift pump) that is pretty bad. Oil cooler to turbo pressure line/fitting looks to be leaking, guess its next to get attention. The oil cooler had oil coming out of one bolt holes, so I tightened all the bolts (amazing the whole thing hadnt fallen off) as they were very loose. Anyone know if the retaining bolts "go to air". ![]() The cam follower assy gskts seem to be leaking, but I am not so sure it isnt the bolt/threads leaking. Fairly easy fix, once the hole in the block was "shaped" to prevent cutting the new o-ring. I read about the higher oil pressure in these engines being the cause, but I feel there is more to it than that.Įngine had a oil galley plug behind the ECM blow out the o-ring some time ago. My 3126 has the common draft tube drip, but has sprung a number of other leaks here lately. ![]() Or would it be easier to say where they don't? ![]()
